Cole spends most of his day either crawling around or standing up. He will walk along the fireplace and all around the coffee table, but has yet to take that first step. This stage is so much fun. He is so curious. He makes a mad dash anytime we open the laundry room, guestroom, or bathrooms. We keep these rooms blocked off, but it does not stop Cole from trying. He has figured out how to get the dog drawers and my closet drawers open. He likes to pull out my socks, bras, and underwear in the mornings while I am getting ready. I like to think he is just helping me out. He still loves to chase the cats and watch the dogs eat their food. His favorite activity is going to get the mail. His face lights up in the afternoon when he sees the mailbox. He has started reaching for it and attempts to pull it open. He loves it when you let him carry the mail up the driveway. It is so darn cute.
We spent Thanksgiving in Little Rock with my family. My brother, sister in-law, nephew, and niece drove in from Houston, TX, and my sister Caitlin flew in from NY. It was fun seeing Cole interact with his cousins. Cole going for Aidan's foot. Yes they are bigger, but Cole has 6 teeth that he knows how to use.
One afternoon, we bundled up and went for a walk on the pedestrian bridge that goes over the Arkansas River. The name cracks me up...it is called the "Big Dam Bridge." Cole had a great time being entertained by Aidan. It was really cute.
Luke and I truly have so much to be thankful for this year. Cole is an amazing baby, and we are loving every new day with him. He is happy and healthy,. which is all I can ask for.
